Adelaide Pool Heating founder, Anthony Sebastiani, has been named as the Pool Heating Whisperer on Radio FIVEaa.
Marketer, Steve Davis, from Talked About Marketing, did a profile segment on Anthony during last weekend’s afternoon talk show hosted by Adelaide Techguy, Richard Pascoe.
In the dicussion, Steve referred to Anthony as the Pool Heating Whisperer, which seems to have stuck, with customers starting to use the nickname this week.
From Alice Springs to Adelaide, what shaped the Pool Heating Whisperer?
In the profile segment, Steve mentioned Anthony’s early years, growing up in Alice Springs where his mother made sure all the family took swimming lessons despite “living in the middle of the desert”.
It seems that gave Anthony an appreciation for swimming pools, especially heated swimming pools, given the radiant excess of sunlight in central Australia.
The radio segment also highlighted Anthony’s early exposure to the responsibility of running a small business, as he observed his dad running a bricklaying business in Alice Springs during the time of inflationary interest rates in Australia in the 1980s.
There were times when Anthony’s dad held down a second job during slow times, to make sure he could keep his team together.
Steve noted that this sort of mindset is what you find in most small businesses that are destined to endure.
